A view of Seoul at night from the N Tower. I really need a new camera that takes better night photos. My old camera took much better photos at night but unfortunately it died on me a few months ago.

It's hard to believe 2008 is over already. Time is such an interesting construct and I always find it amazing how much we as a species worry about it while the rest of the life on our planet gives it little consideration. This past year brought with it many ups and downs, and some unexpected events, both in the world I live in and in the world around me. I hope that 2009 will see more happiness than ever before for everyone in our fragile world, and that people will learn to live with less regret and more acceptance. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and all the best for 2009.

Today is Thanksgiving in the States, and though I'm far away I hope my family everywhere knows how thankful I am for them! The photo above was the last time I was together with my grandparents in Greece this past October with my brother. I'm so thankful for the time we spent together and that we got to reconnect with them after so many lost years.
